The concept of Wasabi Bistro was
brought to life in Hawaii by Kumi Iseki. In Japanese, "wa"
means harmony and "sabi" means simplicity, and in this spirit
you are invited to experience Wasabi Bistro.
Born and raised in Japan, but
living in the United States, Kumi longed for the foods that
she grew up with, which led to the opening of her first
restaurant in California over 25 years ago. Kumi has since
established numerous Japanese restaurants in Hawaii and
throughout Asia. |

"In a textural, contemporary space, this well-received
restaurant tempts diners with its updated Japanese cuisine. The
location offers a number of innovations, most notably Wasabi's No. 1 Special, an appetizer composed of halibut, crab, and avocado. Other
signature dishes include baked scallops topped with spicy aioli. Naturally, you'll
find plenty of seafood, and it all gets a kick from Wasabi's forward-thinking
chefs and owners. You'll be intrigued by - and sold on - their creativity." |

all reasonably priced." |
