First of all, thank you for your interest in Sam Snead’s Tavern & Restaurant for your forthcoming event. We will strive to provide you with professional planning knowledge that will create a perfect event for you and your guests. We’re capable of providing theme buffets, cocktail receptions, and special “Plated Entrées” for lunch or dinner. We also offer a Hawaiian buffet menu and Pacific-Rim recipes. We will accommodate any dietary restrictions that your guests may have.

You and your guests have the choice of either having their private function (small or large) at the restaurant or outdoor patio or off-property as a cater event, in addition, we are willing to create a menu that will fit your budget. We have adequate parking to accommodate functions up to 250 guests, parking for tour busses, and drop-off and pick-up under the porte-cochere. We also offer a conference room that can accommodate a small meeting up to 20 guests. Guest may also have a private lunch or dinner in the conference room.

San Snead’s Tavern & Restaurant proudly displays memorabilia of Sam Snead, one of the all-time golf legends. Once you walk into the restaurants casual but elegant setting, you are taken back by all of his historical achievements, Hole-In-One centerpiece, and antique golf clubs that line the walls and hallways. This golfer’s museum is located on the beautiful Navy-Marine Golf Course across the street from Honolulu International Airport.

Our restaurant regular menu specializes in “Certified Angus Beef” steaks (filet mignon, rib eye, top sirloin, and prime rib), burgers, fresh fish and oak-smoked baby back pork ribs grilled over oak wood, and Home-Style cooking. In addition to tantalizing appetizers, generous salads with homemade dressings, and homemade soups made daily in our kitchen.

We offer a beverage menu that features a variety of wines, bottle and draught beers, aperitifs, distilled liquors, cognacs, and liqueurs.

Breakfast hours (19th Hole Café only) are from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Lunch is served daily from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Dinner is served nightly from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

FOOD MENU: All American menu featuring “Certified Angus Beef” filet mignon, ribeye and top sirloin steaks, and hamburgers. We also offer a variety of salads, fresh fish, seafood, and chicken and pasta entrées. Other ethnic menus are available.

BREAKFAST BRIEFINGS: Audio and visual set-ups are available at client cost.

PRE-SET MENU: Yes, plated dinner and buffet menus are available

CATERING AVAILABLE: Functions include: food/cocktail receptions or buffets.

CUSTOM PRINTED MENUS: Available with 2 weeks lead-time.

PAYMENT: Cash, Company Check (made to Big Island Restaurant Group, Inc.), or Credit Cards will be accepted for payment. No personal checks.
