using white grapes or by using only the pulp of red grapes. They have a less
complex taste than reds and are best paired with lighter foods, appetizers,
salads and foods such as fish, pasta with white sauce, and some white meats

Red wines are
more complex than their white cousins because they are produced using both
the pulp and the skins of the grapes and it is from the skins that many
different tastes originate. Because they are generally bolder in taste than
whites, reds are usually paired with food that has a bolder taste such as
steak, bison, game and pastas with red sauce. |
