Keoki's Paradise is one of Kauai's
favorite restaurants for its ambiance, moderate prices and
great tasting food. Located in sunny Poipu Beach, Keoki's is
the "in" spot for dining and entertainment in a tropical and
picturesque setting.
Opened in 1986, Keoki's is styled to resemble a dockside
boathouse. Cascading waterfalls, meandering streams, lush
foliage and thatched roofs over the bar create an outdoor
Polynesian atmosphere. Framed old Hawaii posters and
surfboards line the koa-paneled walls, enhancing the casual
ambiance.

"Keoki's Paradise is sprawling
and lively with lunch favorites that include a fresh ahi
sandwich, fresh-fish tacos, Thai shrimp sticks, and chicken
Caesar salad -- all good and affordable. In the evenings,
regulars tout the fresh fish crusted in lemon grass, basil,
and bread crumbs. When it's time for dessert, the original
Hula pie from Kimo's in Lahaina is an ever-sinful presence.
The cafe in the bar area serves lighter fare and features live
Hawaiian music on Thursday and Friday nights and Sunday
afternoon.." |
